What is the CircuitRunners Newsletter?

At CircuitRunners Robotics, we’re all about pushing the boundaries of innovation, teamwork, and engineering excellence. From shop updates and project highlights to important events and team milestones, we’re here to keep you informed and engaged.

Once a month, we will publish an informative newsletter, keeping you updated on all the latest events and news CircuitRunners has. We will include a calendar of upcoming events, as well as a summary of the key things that we are doing as a club. We hope you enjoy it!

Upcoming Dates:

  • FRC District Competition (Dalton) - March 6 & 7

FTC League Championship

Our FTC teams finished off their last regional competition strong, with both of them qualifying for state championships! Congrats to FTC 1002, who was part of the winning alliance and won the 2nd place Inspire Award, and to FTC 11347, who won 1st place Inspire! Both teams have worked so hard and improved so much as the season has gone on!

Spring Magnet Open House

This month, Wheeler High School welcomed future Wildcats and their families for our annual Magnet Open House! Our team had an amazing time showcasing what we do and sharing our passion for STEM. We were able to display both our FTC robots and several finished parts of our FRC robot. Visitors stopped by to learn about the team, ask questions about robotics, and even try operating the robots. It was exciting to meet so many prospective students, and we can’t wait to see some of these future innovators join Circuitrunners in the upcoming years!

Peachtree Presbyterian Preschool Robot Demo

Our members recently had the opportunity to visit a local preschool at Peachtree Presbyterian for a special robot demonstration! The kids were thrilled to see the robot in action and loved to watch it drive around the room! This was an amazing opportunity to share our passion and knowledge with the younger generation of future engineers!

FTC State Championship

This month, both of our FTC teams competed in the State Championship where FTC 11347 won 1st place Inspire award and FTC 1002 made playoffs and won 2nd place Inspire, earning both teams a spot at the World Championships!

Our teams earned this prestigious award through extensive outreach and mentoring events. We have conducted many robot demonstrations, organized numerous events, collaborated with other teams to foster interest in robotics, and supported the development of several robotics teams, all while showcasing strong robot design and performance this season!

We are so proud of both of our FTC teams to have earned this award and will be cheering for you at the World Championships!

Support Circuitrunners!

Competitions costs, robot building costs, and travel costs can pile up for our students. Everything we do at Circuitrunners requires money, from maintaining our shop to acquiring the best building materials.

Help our organization and your students by contributing to our GoFundMe! Our goal is $20,000, and while members are encouraged to donate $200, any amount truly makes a huge difference. As a nonprofit, every donation goes directly towards, robot building, competition registration, and travel costs, as this year, two of our teams are already confirmed to go to Worlds!

Thank you so much for all your support!

Parent volunteers

Dear PARENTS,

Volunteering for events is vital to support our club. Many of our events that we host require adult volunteers to run. Without parent volunteers specifically, we would not by able to host all the events that we do throughout the year. Volunteering as a parent can help your child earn a letter for robotics, which is great for college applications. As a CircuitRunners parent, it is critical to support your student, and a great way to do that is through volunteering at CircuitRunners events!

We also need volunteers at the event as referees, field resetters, judging, etc. Below are instruction to volunteer:

Thank you to all of our sponsors!

A special thank you to Parker’s 3D Prints, ClickUp, Cobb County, GM, Canva, Gene Haas, Elro Signs, Signs and More Inc., Kantan Solutions, Automation Direct, PolyMaker who have supported us and allowed us to keep doing what we do at Circuitrunners. We would not be able to build our robots, compete, and uplift our community without our amazing sponsors!

How can you get involved with CircuitRunners?

CircuitRunners is a student-led, student-driven organization, but none of our amazing achievements would have been possible without the invaluable support of our teachers, parents, sponsors, and mentors. As high school students, we deeply value the experience, wisdom, and knowledge you bring to the table - whether it’s programming expertise, mechanical skills, business sense, or marketing proficiency.

In addition to your time and expertise, any financial support would be greatly appreciated. Whether it’s a small donation or sponsoring one of our events, every contribution makes a significant difference.

If you know about schools or communities that can get involved with CircuitRunners, send us as email at: [email protected] or visit our website: www. circuitrunners.org

We are truly grateful for everything you are doing for CircuitRunners! Thank you!
